Welcome to FastHandsNow. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About FastHandsNow
FastHandsNow ("we", "us") is a technology platform operated by FastHandsNow Technologies Private Limited that connects customers seeking short-term workers ("Customers") with individuals offering manual labor services ("Workers"). We are a facilitator, not an employer of workers.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use FastHandsNow
- You must provide accurate, current information
- You must be legally permitted to work in India (for workers)
- You must agree to abide by these terms and all applicable laws
3. Account Registration
Account creation requires phone number verification via OTP. Workers additionally require Aadhaar verification. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide truthful information
- Keep your account secure
- Not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
4. Services Provided
FastHandsNow provides a platform that:
- Allows customers to post short-term labor jobs
- Notifies nearby verified workers about jobs
- Facilitates price negotiation through structured offers
- Processes payments via escrow through Razorpay
- Provides GPS tracking during active jobs
- Provides per-job accident insurance via partner insurers
- Enables phone-masked communication between parties
5. The Worker-Customer Relationship
FastHandsNow is not an employer. We do not employ workers. Workers are independent contractors providing services to customers. The contractual relationship for the actual work performed is between the customer and the worker, not with FastHandsNow.
6. Pricing and Payment
- Customers post jobs with a budget; workers counter-offer through structured buttons
- Once a price is accepted, the customer pays into Razorpay escrow
- Money is released to the worker upon job completion
- FastHandsNow charges a platform fee of 15% of each completed job (subject to change with notice)
- Workers receive 85% of the gross job amount
- All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Applicable GST will be added where required
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Before worker acceptance: Customer can cancel free of charge
- After acceptance, before work begins: Cancellation may incur a small fee (₹50) if it's within 15 minutes of arrival
- After work begins: Cancellation requires mutual agreement; partial payment may apply
- Worker no-show: Full refund issued automatically
- Quality disputes: Contact support within 24 hours; we will mediate
8. Insurance Coverage
Each job is covered by accident insurance through Acko or similar partner up to ₹2 lakh. Coverage:
- Begins when worker marks "I have arrived" and customer confirms
- Ends when work is marked complete
- Covers personal accident to the worker during the job
- Does not cover pre-existing conditions, deliberate damage, or non-job activities
For claims, contact us within 48 hours of incident.
9. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the platform for any illegal activity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Provide false information or impersonate others
- Circumvent the platform to avoid fees (off-platform transactions)
- Post jobs that are unsafe, illegal, or involve illegal substances
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
- Share account credentials with others
- Discriminate against workers based on caste, religion, region, gender, or other protected categories
Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
10. Worker Verification
We perform reasonable verification of workers including Aadhaar verification, phone verification, and ongoing rating monitoring. However:
- We cannot guarantee worker performance or character
- Customers should exercise normal caution when allowing strangers into their property
- We are not liable for losses caused by worker conduct beyond the insurance coverage
11. Ratings and Reviews
Both customers and workers can rate each other. Ratings:
- Must be truthful and based on actual experience
- Cannot be used for harassment or extortion
- May be moderated for abusive content
- Affect future job matching
12. Platform Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend service for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
13. Intellectual Property
FastHandsNow trademarks, logos, and content are owned by FastHandsNow Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not use them without written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, FastHandsNow's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount paid by you in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹50,000.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify FastHandsNow from claims arising from your violation of these terms, your conduct on the platform, or your interactions with other users.
16. Dispute Resolution
- First, contact our support team for resolution
- If unresolved, disputes will be settled by arbitration in Chennai under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Courts in Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction
- Governing law: laws of India
17. Termination
You may stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, outstanding payments will still be processed.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via SMS, email, or in-app notification at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
